Actuarial Analyst II

The Actuarial Analyst II will complete projects and perform complex actuarial studies, including preparing Actuarial Experience Reports, supporting audits, analyzing data, and calculating claims liability reserves. Responsibilities Completes Actuarial Experience Reports that includes, but not limited to data collection, Category of Service logic, leveraging IBNR models, and reconciling to the general ledger Provides additional support for Audits by explaining models, data and providing supporting detail Obtains, verifies, analyzes and models data including risk reporting and forecasting Calculates monthly claims liability reserves, develops merit rating factors and prepares Department of Insurance annual statement exhibits Skills Requires a BA/BS degree Passed a minimum of three Society of Actuaries (SOA) or Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) actuarial exams Minimum of 1 year related experience Ability to work in-office 1-2 days per week Candidates must be within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s) unless an accommodation is granted as required by law Benefits Comprehensive benefits package Incentive and recognition programs Equity stock purchase 401k contribution Merit increases Paid holidays Paid Time Off Incentive bonus programs Medical, dental, vision, short and long term disability benefits 401(k) +match Stock purchase plan Life insurance Wellness programs Financial education resources Company Overview Elevance Health is an integrated whole-health approach to help people in health journey and address their full range of needs.
