Analyst, Ad Sales Revenue Operations

We are seeking an Analyst to join DIRECTV’s Ad Sales Revenue Operations team in a highly visible role responsible for driving operational excellence and maximizing advertising revenue. You will play a pivotal part in enabling our sales organization and senior leadership with the metrics, insights, and reporting needed to accelerate business performance. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytical professional with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, a strong understanding of the advertising ecosystem, and a passion for delivering results. Here's what you’ll do: • Synthesize large, complex data sets to develop actionable insights, build financial models, and deliver executive-level reporting on sales performance and key business metrics. • Build, maintain, and track account executive sales compensation models, ensuring alignment with business objectives and incentive plans. • Act as a strategic partner to cross functional teams (Sales, Finance, PPI, Business Development, Systems & Ops), providing data-driven insights that inform revenue strategy, operational processes, and business priorities. • Monitor industry trends, programmatic landscape developments, and competitive intelligence to inform business strategy and support monetization initiatives. • Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong organizational and prioritization skills. What you’ll need to be successful: • Bachelor’s degree preferred. • 1 – 2+ years of experience in media/advertising, sales operations, revenue operations, or a related analytical role. • Natural ability to tell a compelling story using data-driven insights as a foundation. • Proven aptitude to synthesize large data sets, model and develop meaningful insights. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, Power Query, Data and Pivot Tables) and PowerPoint (executive-level presentation development). • Experience with Business Intelligence and Data Analysis tools (Looker, Tableau and Alteryx a plus). • Strong understanding of the digital/programmatic advertising ecosystem and CRM/ad tech platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Freewheel, SSPs/DSPs). • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. • High attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position and work location(s) listed in the job posting US Labor Market Zone(s). Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. DIRECTV WAGE ZONES N4: $75,831 - 113,747 Please note that the salary ranges reflect base salary only and do not include bonus or benefits - when you consider all of these together, it represents a pretty impressive total compensation package.
