Bilingual Medical Billing & Patient Support Specialist (Remote – Central Time) Pay: $25/hour ($52,000 annually) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM CT (or 9:00 AM–5:30 PM ET) Work Setup: 100% Remote, with potential travel to Boca Raton, FL once per year Benefits: 401k (no match), Medical/Dental/Vision, 2 weeks PTO (15 days), eligibility after 90 days About the Role We are seeking a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Billing Specialist / Call Center Support Representative to join our member services team. This is a remote role, ideally for someone based in the Central Time Zone (Texas preferred), who is experienced in delivering a “White Glove” experience to patients and provider offices. You’ll serve as a primary contact for patients and physicians, assisting with billing inquiries, payment collection, account updates, and general customer service. Your ability to communicate clearly and professionally in both English and Spanish will be key in supporting our diverse member base. What You’ll Do • Answer inbound calls and conduct outbound calls to patients and providers in both English and Spanish • Assist with billing inquiries, payment collections, account questions, and benefit education • Follow up on past-due accounts and initiate friendly, professional collection efforts • Process enrollment applications, update patient records, and send out invoices and correspondence • Accurately document all interactions in the CRM system • Collaborate with team members and leadership to escalate complex issues when needed • Maintain detailed knowledge of company policies, services, and procedures • Participate in additional function training and quarterly recertification processes as assigned Qualifications • Fluency in English and Spanish is required • Minimum of 2 years in a call center or customer service role, preferably within a healthcare or billing setting • Experience in accounts receivable, payment posting, collections, or billing software • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and professional phone etiquette • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Windows-based systems, and CRM tools • High School diploma or equivalent required Remote Work Requirements • Must reside in the Central Time Zone (Texas preferred) • Must have a private home office, high-speed internet, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision If you’re bilingual, detail-oriented, and love helping people while working from home, we’d love to hear from you!
