About the position Position: Bookkeeper with Client Accounting Experience. - HYBRID / REMOTE - Newnan, GA Essential Functions: Client Accounting Services (CAS): Directly manage assigned client accounts, covering bookkeeping, payroll, payroll tax, sales and use tax, financial statement preparation, and other accounting and consulting tasks. Skill Sets: Exhibit precision and clarity in work, maintain positive client and firm relations, show eagerness for assignments (including advanced or technical projects), and ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks. Responsibilities • Directly manage assigned client accounts • Bookkeeping • Payroll • Payroll tax • Sales and use tax • Financial statement preparation • Accounting and consulting tasks Requirements • Minimum of two years in bookkeeping • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word • Proficiency in various accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, etc. • Strong grasp of accounting principles • Adept at recording business transactions in a full accrual general ledger • Experience in account reconciliations • Journal entry preparation • Payroll processing • Tax return preparation • Demonstrate integrity • Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance • Exhibit trustworthiness • Possess strong written and oral communication skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment • Exercise discretion in handling confidential information • Willingness to work overtime during peak seasons Nice-to-haves • Accounting degree Benefits • Excellent compensation package • Positive workplace environment conducive to professional growth Apply tot his job
