Bookkeeper - REMOTE (P-T & F-T)

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Remote Bookkeeper to support our accounting and daily financial operations. In this role, you will be responsible for recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, managing invoices, and assisting with basic financial reporting. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, analytical, and able to work independently in a remote environment. Flexible scheduling is available for both part-time and full-time candidates. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers. Record daily transactions (expenses, payments, invoices, etc.). Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and other financial records. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. Prepare and send invoices; track payments and follow up on overdue accounts. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Generate basic financial reports (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow summaries). Maintain organized digital filing systems and documentation. Collaborate with management, accountants, or CPAs as needed. Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with financial procedures. Qualifications Required: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Accounting preferred). Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial data management. Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation processes. Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, FreshBooks, Wave, etc.). Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and organizational skills. Reliable internet access and ability to work independently. Preferred: QuickBooks Online certification or similar credentials. Experience with payroll processing. Familiarity with budgeting or financial forecasting. Previous remote work experience.
