Clinical Reviewer - Remote (Must Reside in Illinois)

About the position Responsibilities • Responsible for reviewing documentation and/or assessments and applying clinical criteria to complete determinations, approvals or recommendations. • Determine need for and obtain any additional information required to complete actions. • Determine when escalation or consultation is required with supervisor, physician or related medical or related clinical discipline. • Complete reports or documentation in accordance with contract requirements. • Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements • High School Degree or equivalent required. • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience required. • LPN, RN, LCSW, or related licensure preferred and may be required based on contract requirements. • Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health, or a related field OR an active and unrestricted Nursing or compact Illinois state license. • Minimum 2 years post-graduate work experience in the mental health field. • Minimum 2 years experience conducting mental health assessments. • Highly skilled using Microsoft office. Nice-to-haves • Demonstrates outstanding interpersonal and verbal communication skills. • Demonstrates strong proficiency in written communication, producing concise and impactful documentation. • IM+CANS certification or willingness to obtain IM+CANS certification.
