## Key Responsibilities of the role Responsible for the relationship and engagement the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). Ensure that all activities of the organisation comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. Develop, review, and update compliance policies and procedures to reflect changes in regulations and industry best practices. Advance and perform risk assessments and monitor compliance risks, implementing measures to mitigate potential issues. Take the lead as group Business Wide Risk Assessment Lead, conducting entity and group level risk reports. Prepare and submit necessary regulatory reports and filings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Lead or assist in internal investigations related to compliance matters and recommend corrective actions. Support other regional teams or functions in managing the company's anti-money laundering (AML) program, including suspicious activity reporting and customer due diligence. Act as MLRO and Nominated Officer for Singapore SAR reporting Audits and Examinations: Manage regulatory audits and examinations, liaising with regulatory bodies as needed. Compliance Monitoring: Establish and maintain an effective compliance monitoring program to track and report on compliance activities. Advisory Role: Provide compliance advice and guidance to senior management and other departments. ## Your experience, skills and knowledge Proven experience in a compliance role, preferably within a financial services or digital assets company. In depth understanding of MAS regulatory requirements with a good understanding of VA/VASP requirements Knowledge of anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and practices. Ability to independently and remotely but thrives on collaboration and cross jurisdictional working. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience of performing risk assessments and implementing the necessary measures. Assisting in internal compliance investigations.
