Creative Director/Producer - Direct Response

Brand Bolt is a fast-growing direct response marketing company specializing in Video Sales Letters (VSLs) that convert for DTC health and wellness brands. Our team thrives on creativity, performance, and innovation. We’re looking for a Creative Director/Producer with deep experience in direct-to-consumer health and wellness brands, who can bring ideas to life, oversee the creative process end-to-end, and consistently produce high-impact, high-converting creatives. As Creative Director/Producer, you will be the driving force behind our creative output. From ideation with our copy team to final cut, you’ll ensure every asset aligns with our brand voice, marketing goals, and performance standards. This is a hands-on role requiring strong creative instincts, direct response sensibility, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously. Key Responsibilities Creative Strategy & Ideation • Collaborate with copywriters to align visuals with messaging for VSLs and ads. • Generate and pitch creative concepts, hooks, and storytelling frameworks that maximize conversions. Production & Direction • Occasionally attend or produce shoots to ensure creative vision is executed. • Source and manage user-generated content (UGC) for campaigns. Post-Production Oversight • Manage editors through the full post-production process (video editing, graphics, sound). • Provide detailed feedback and revisions to ensure high-quality, performance-driven content. Project Management • Own the creative pipeline from brainstorming through delivery. • Ensure deadlines are met and assets are optimized for testing and scaling. Performance Optimization • Work closely with marketing to analyze creative performance and iterate based on data. Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in creative direction, production, or related role in the direct response industry specifically in health and wellness. • Proven ability to develop and execute high-performing creative concepts. • Hands-on production experience — comfortable working with crews, talent, and UGC creators. • Strong knowledge of editing workflows and ability to give actionable feedback to editors. • Exceptional organizational and communication skills; able to manage multiple projects and stakeholders. • A blend of creative vision and analytical thinking — you know how to craft stories that sell.
