As a Customer Solutions Representative at blithequark, you'll play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction with their home improvement projects, driving our mission to deliver exceptional customer experiences. About the Role As a Customer Solutions Representative, you'll be the primary point of contact for customers who require assistance with their home improvement projects. Your primary responsibility will be to listen to customer complaints, empathize with their concerns, and work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including retailers, manufacturers, and contractors, to resolve issues and deliver satisfactory solutions. This role demands extraordinary judgment, finesse, and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Key Responsibilities Initiate service claims within the Service Module and gather relevant information to validate claims Determine necessary resolutions and negotiate payment of service resolution costs with various parties involved Facilitate the progression of service claims by scheduling service assessments, ordering materials, coordinating service work, and updating the Service Module accordingly Respond timely to customer and affiliate inquiries, ensuring prompt and effective communication Escalate contractors who are uncooperative in resolving Service Claims to the Customer Solutions Manager and, if necessary, the operations team Recognize high-profile Service Claims or those with potential litigation and escalate immediately Gather necessary supporting information to submit insurance bond claims Perform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment Essential Qualifications To succeed as a Customer Solutions Representative at blithequark, you'll need: A High School diploma or equivalent 3+ years of related experience in customer service and negotiation, with a proven track record of resolving complex issues Excellent active listening, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling high-volume calls, claims, and responsibilities while maintaining a professional demeanor Strong organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to changing or multiple priorities Computer literacy and ability to adapt to various programs and software applications Ability to resolve conflicts, formulate resolutions, and work under pressure Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications can give you a competitive edge: Knowledge and/or experience in the home improvement industry, providing a deeper understanding of the business and customer needs What We Offer At blithequark, we're committed to providing a comprehensive benefits package that supports your well-being and career growth.
