About the position Responsibilities • Lead energy efficiency efforts for Agropur's operations in the U.S. and Canada. • Manage energy efficiency roadmaps and secure external funding for projects. • Oversee all related administrative activities. • Travel to plants in the U.S. and Canada to conduct energy audits and collect data. • Establish and maintain relationships with Agropur facilities. • Collaborate with global engineering teams to support operational improvements aligned with ESG goals. • Lead deliverables related to Agropur's emissions reduction, including roadmap development and data management. • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to implement processes supporting ESG data governance. • Support efforts to collect, store, validate, and submit data for external disclosures. • Work with corporate stakeholders to develop and implement relevant reporting projects. • Represent the organization in internal/external working groups and committees. • Improve internal control processes to ensure accuracy of ESG indicators. • Coordinate ESG responses and evidence for stakeholders. • Translate strategic plans into concrete daily actions. • Obtain quotes for projects and collaborate with contractors and suppliers. • Perform other related duties. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in environment, science, agronomy, engineering, or a related sustainability field required. • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in project administration or coordination required. • Experience in environmental management (energy, water, waste, emissions) and/or environmental health and safety is preferred. • Previous experience in the global agri-food industry is an asset. • Excellent communication skills with all levels of management and departments. • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines. • Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation. • Ability to create an environment where people feel valued and capable.
