With years of experience working with CPG brands and buyers at both retailers, you’ve got a knack for all things sales strategy, annual tracking, trade execution, and more. Plus, when it comes to bringing even more Siete products to Walmart and Sam’s Club locations across the country, you’re ready to elevate relation-chips to the next level! Sound like you? We’re looking for a Director of Sales - Walmart & Sam’s, and we’d love to hear from you! About you: You’re familiar, friendly, and connected with the teams at Walmart and Sam’s Club, and you’re eager to talk about all things Siete, too. You’ve been told more than a few times that your storytelling and communication skills are a 7/7! You’re clear, concise, and caring— in writing and IRL (in real life). You’re like a generator for ideas, inspo, and insights—you’d give Chat GPT a run for its money, or so you’ve been told! “Teamwork makes the dreamwork!” This quote may not require much explanation, but you still always keep it top of mind because—Juntos es Mejor (together is better!). You make solving problems look easy. (It might be because you’ve adapted the infamously catchy line of “Yo, if there’s a problem, I’ll solve it. Check out the hook while DJ revolves it,” as your personal motto.) You know that setting, tracking, and planning for goals is essential to success, but you’re also flexible when it comes to shifting gears. To quote Ross from Friends, “PIVOT!” What you will do: Serve as the primary Sales contact for Walmart and Sam’s relationships with ownership of annual planning, trade execution, supply chain, and selling for both. Work with the Senior Sales leadership on strategic initiatives to deliver annual plan objectives. Ensure regular communication and alignment on account progress with cross-functional partners. Directly manage the broker relationship and contract to maximize business performance through annual goal setting and regular progress check-ins. Analyze past business performance to build improved sales plans. Willing to travel up to 25% and attend trade shows. Your experience: 6+ years of Walmart/Sam’s experience is required Prior experience in CPG food/beverage is required Experience working with brokers is strongly preferred Strong knowledge of Syndicated Data (SPINS, Nielsen/IRI, etc.) is required Originally posted on Himalayas
