Job Title: ECYD Mission Corps Program Coordinator Department: ECYD Life Department Reports To: Director, ECYD Life Department Location: Remote (with occasional travel) Position Type: Part-Time hourly employee (10 hours/week) Start Date: August 1, 2025 Position Overview:The ECYD Mission Corps Program Coordinator plays a key role on the ECYD Life Department, helping to grow and strengthen one of the most impactful apostolic experiences offered to adolescents in ECYD. This role is ideal for someone with firsthand experience in ECYD—especially as a past ECYD or RC Missionary—and a passion for forming young apostles in ECYD.The coordinator will oversee the management and development of the ECYD Mission Corps, collaborating with ECYD Directors, mission site leaders, and national team members to ensure an enriching and mission-driven experience for all involved.For more information on the ECYD Mission Corps: Key Responsibilities:Mission Corps Program ManagementCoordinate ECYD Mission Corps summer program logistics including site assignments, missionary registration, customer support, and communication with local site directors.Maintain and communicate a detailed annual calendar of responsibilities and deadlines related to registration, fees, missionary materials, and promotional efforts.Manage national program resources and budget, including missionary welcome kits, alumni packets, and training materials. Strategic Growth of the Mission CorpsDevelop and execute a long-term plan to grow the ECYD Mission Corps to 100 missionaries each summer within 10 years (general plan and guidelines provided).Define new apostolic roles and build pipelines for ECYD Missionary Host Families, Site Directors, Assistants, and Auxiliaries.Collaborate on the creation of promotional, formation, and onboarding materials for these roles. Program Enrichment and Resource DevelopmentEnhance formation and prayer resources to ensure all ECYD Missionaries live out the five elements of ECYD life.Innovate new ways to foster site identity, training and fellowship for ECYD missionaries in preparation for their summer.Launch and support second-year opportunities for returning missionaries. Collaboration and Team IntegrationParticipate in weekly check-ins with the ECYD Life Department team.Engage in quarterly strategy offsites and department-wide projects.Coordinate with team members to align Mission Corps programming with ECYD national initiatives and events.Coordinate with the international ECYD Mission Corps team for program alignment and international missionary assignments. Requirements Ideal Candidate Qualifications: • Strong experience in ECYD as a formator; experience as an ECYD Missionary or RC Missionary preferred. • Basic working proficiency in Spanish (intermediate level) • Proven skills in project management, team coordination, and event planning. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Availability to continue in this work for at least 3 years. • High degree of initiative, creativity, and problem-solving. • Comfort working in collaborative digital environments (email, shared drives, online platforms, websites). • A heart for mission, a love for adolescents, and a desire to help ECYD grow.
