Entry Level Traffic Engineer

They are seeking an Entry Level Traffic Engineer to join their traffic engineering team, where the individual will conduct analyses, prepare reports, and collaborate with other engineers to address transportation challenges. Responsibilities Conduct traffic engineering analysis under the supervision of an experienced engineer Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic traffic engineering and transportation planning problems Conduct fieldwork such as traffic counts and site visits Prepare technical reports, presentations, maps, websites, or other documentation to support findings and decision-making Perform work in accordance with agreed-upon budget and schedule Work collaboratively with other engineers to solve transportation challenges Skills Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Valid U.S. Driver's License Engineer-in-Training certification (or ability to obtain) Relevant co-op/internship experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education Experience with traffic engineering or transportation planning projects for WisDOT, municipalities, and/or other transportation agencies Experience with software such as ArcGIS, AutoCAD Civil3D, Synchro, HCS, VISSIM, IHSDM or similar tools Familiarity with the HCM, HSM, WisDOT FDM, and/or WisTransPortal system Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills Possess excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities Benefits Medical Dental Vision Life AD&D Disability benefits Paid time off Leaves of absences Voluntary benefits Perks Flexible work options Well-being resources Employee assistance program Business travel insurance Service recognition awards Retirement savings plan Employee stock purchase plan Company Overview AECOM is a global provider of professional technical and management support services to a broad range of markets.
