Event Coordinator

Seneca Holdings is seeking an Events Coordinator to support the Marketing and Communication department's initiatives with the planning and execution of internal company events. This role involves coordinating various aspects of events to ensure their success and fostering connections among participants. Responsibilities Support the full-life cycle of event coordination, including venue sourcing, coordination and management, travel/accommodation arrangements, on-site execution, itinerary creation, budget tracking & reconciliation and post-event reporting Assist in the ideation and execution of successful on-territory immersion programs that support the company mission and enhance connection among event participants Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams, external vendors, & executive stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of events Conduct all business in accordance with Seneca policies and procedures All other duties as assigned Skills Some college experience required 1-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or related field Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines Strong verbal communication skills Proficient in MS Office Suite, Monday.com and Teams Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide solution-based alternatives to stakeholders and internal/external partners Excellent customer service skills and ability to build relationships with decision makers at a variety of levels Must be a self-starter and able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Occasional travel may be required Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, computer printer, etc Requires repetitive motion associated with heavy computer use Must be able to stand or work on your feet for extended periods of time Benefits Medical Dental Vision Life Disability Voluntary benefit programs (critical illness, hospital, and accident) Health savings and flexible spending accounts Retirement 401K plan Company Overview Seneca Holdings is the investment arm of the Seneca Nation of Indians, and has unique sovereign advantages that help to create value.
