Job Overview In this critical role, you will be the primary point of contact for our valued customers, providing timely and effective solutions to their inquiries, requests, and concerns. Your exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, will enable you to build strong relationships with our clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded. As a Bilingual Customer Care Representative, you will be responsible for: Responding to telephone inquiries, requests, and problems in a professional and courteous manner Researching, analyzing, and providing solutions that meet the customer's needs, ensuring first-contact resolution whenever possible Providing customers with accurate account information, resolving billing disputes, and correcting payment errors Revising fee and finance charges as appropriate, maintaining accurate records, and performing account maintenance tasks Taking card, check, or other orders, acting on lost or stolen cards/checks, and researching customer problems that could not be resolved during the initial contact Key Responsibilities To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle difficult customer calls in a calm and professional manner. Your strong interpersonal skills will enable you to work effectively with our clients, internal stakeholders, and colleagues to resolve issues and improve processes. Additional responsibilities include: Identifying and resolving or escalating problems in a timely and efficient manner Utilizing computer navigation skills to access various software packages, including Microsoft Office applications Maintaining accurate records, managing multiple tasks, and prioritizing responsibilities to maximize productivity Collaborating with internal teams to improve processes, share knowledge, and enhance customer experiences Requirements and Qualifications To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you should possess: A high school diploma or equivalent Two to four years of relevant experience in customer service, contact center, or a related field At least 2 years of contact center work experience, with prior experience in banking, merchant payment services, point of sales, and/or financial services being an asset Good knowledge of concepts, practices, policies, and procedures of banking products and services Effective telephone and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate fluently in both French and English Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle difficult customer calls Proficient computer navigation skills, with experience using Microsoft Office applications Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications will be considered an asset: Post-secondary education in a related field, such as business, finance, or communications Additional language skills, with the ability to communicate in multiple languages Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance targets Certifications or training in customer service, contact center operations, or a related field Career Growth and Development At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
