About the Role As a Customer-Facing Data Scientist at blithequark, you will be an integral part of our customer-facing team, collaborating closely with our clients to help them achieve their organization’s objectives with AI. You will bring your expertise in data science and the blithequark platform to the table, working with clients across various industries on diverse use cases, and engaging with both business and technical stakeholders. Your passion for using machine learning to drive real-world results will be essential in this role, as you act as a trusted advisor to our customers, enabling them to solve complex data science problems using our platform. Key Responsibilities Support customers throughout the entire customer lifecycle, from pre-sales to ongoing client relationships, providing expert guidance on AI solutions and the blithequark platform. Act as a trusted advisor on AI, enabling customers to frame problems, prepare data, build and deploy models, and consume outputs, using the blithequark platform. Represent the blithequark product to customer executives during the pre-sales process, leading demonstrations, advising on use cases, evaluating viability, developing success criteria, and quantifying the business impact of automation-first data science solutions. Collaborate with the Sales, Account Management, and Field Engineering teams to help our customers achieve their goals with blithequark. Act as the voice of the customer internally, providing feedback to the Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to ensure our solutions meet customer needs. Present at conferences and/or contribute to the creation of marketing content to showcase blithequark’s expertise and thought leadership in the AI and data science space. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: 4-5+ years of real-world business experience in a data science role, with a strong track record of delivering results. A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative subject, such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or engineering. Hands-on experience building and implementing machine learning or AI models, with a strong understanding of data science concepts and techniques. Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to ensure that machine learning solutions deliver successfully on business outcomes. Strong customer interaction experience, with excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills. Project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines. Familiarity with a variety of technical tools for data manipulation, such as Python, R, or SQL. Fluency in scripting languages, such as Python or R, with experience working with data science platforms and tools. Desired Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are desirable: An Advanced degree in a quantitative subject, such as a Master’s or Ph.D. Familiarity with the consultative sales process in the analytics marketplace, with experience working with customers to understand their needs and develop solutions. Experience with data platform technology integrations, such as integrating blithequark with other data science tools and platforms. Experience dealing with complex customer organizations, with the ability to navigate multiple stakeholders and priorities.
