Job Overview As a Remote Data Entry Assistant/Typist at blithequark, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data. Your primary responsibilities will include coding and entering data into our computer system or database, verifying the accuracy of the data entered, and generating routine computer reports and/or printouts. You will also be responsible for correcting and updating our database(s) as needed, performing related clerical duties, and performing other related duties as assigned or requested. Key Responsibilities: Code and enter data into a computer system or database via a monitor or keyboard with high accuracy and attention to detail. Correct and update database(s) to ensure data integrity and consistency. Verify the accuracy of data entered to prevent errors and discrepancies. Generate routine computer reports and/or printouts as needed to support business operations. Perform related clerical duties, such as filing, scanning, and data retrieval. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested by management, including special projects and tasks. Qualifications and Preferences To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications: Education: High School diploma or equivalent required. Experience: 6-12 months of experience in data entry or a related field preferred. Expertise: General office skills, including excellent keyboard skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. While not required, we prefer candidates with: Data Entry experience: Previous experience in data entry, preferably in a financial or accounting setting. Technical skills: Familiarity with database management systems, spreadsheets, and other software applications. Attention to detail: A keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail to ensure high-quality data entry.
