Finance Operations Specialist – Subscription Spend and Reporting

Description: • Support and oversee budget approvals for engineering subscription spend • Monitor and track project budgets and expenditures, ensuring costs align with forecasts • Build, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards and advanced Excel models to manage budget performance • Review, approve, and document key business processes related to financial management • Predict and mitigate budget overruns, offering proactive recommendations and solutions • Partner with finance, procurement, and engineering teams to manage budget requests end-to-end • Develop streamlined processes to improve subscription spend visibility and control • Act as a business analyst for financial operations, maintaining strong vendor and stakeholder relationships • Analyze budget data, review project financials, and ensure alignment with subscription-based spend targets • Maintain and enhance reporting tools and design streamlined processes to improve visibility and accuracy in budget tracking Requirements: • 8–10 years of experience in budget management within enterprise technology environments • Strong background in finance, accounting, or business management • Proven ability to manage subscription-based spend and build processes around recurring financial commitments • Minimum 8 years of experience with advanced Excel and Power BI, including dashboard development and complex reporting • At least 6 years of experience driving process improvements in financial or operational settings • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, managing multiple priorities simultaneously • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or Economics • Preferred: Experience collaborating across finance, procurement, and engineering functions • Preferred: Prior experience with enterprise applications and financial systems • Preferred: Familiarity with subscription lifecycle management and reporting best practices Benefits: • Medical, dental, and vision coverage • Flexible Spending Account • 401k program • Competitive PTO offerings • Parental Leave • Opportunities for professional growth and development Apply tot his job
