Freelance Brand Designer (Logo + Pitch Deck): Company Name : Mercado We’re looking for a freelance brand designer to create a small, cohesive set of foundational brand assets for an early-stage retail media advertising agency focused on Walmart. This is deck-grade branding — not a full public brand launch — but design quality, taste, and restraint matter. Project Scope: We’re looking for one designer to handle all of the following so everything feels intentional and cohesive: - A script wordmark logo for the name 'mercado' -----Clean, modern, and restrained ----- Designed primarily for decks, PDFs, and documents - A pitch deck design (5–7 slides) ----Clear hierarchy -----Strong typography -----Thoughtful use of color - A one-page PDF derived from the deck - A small color + type system we can build from Design Direction We’re aiming for a look that feels: - Modern, confident, and well-designed - Premium but approachable - Calm and intentional — not flashy or trendy We do want to explore color, particularly: - Blues (navy, deep blue, Carolina blue, etc.), - Neutral pairings (off-white, charcoal, warm gray) - Possibly one secondary accent color We’re open to the wordmark subtly referencing a sense of place (e.g., signage, structure, or architectural cues), or a silhouette of a market You’re a strong fit if you: - Have experience designing logos and pitch decks - Are comfortable working across brand and layout - Have strong instincts around typography and color - Have worked with an ad agency or other start up CPG brands Deliverables: - Logo files (vector + PNG) - Pitch deck template (Google Slides / PowerPoint / PDF) - One-page PDF - Color palette + font pairing - 1–2 rounds of revisions included Timeline: - Approxiately 2–3 weeks - Start as soon as possible Budget $1,000 All-in for the scope above Work that shows strong use of color and typography is a plus Apply tot his job
