Job Title: Functional SAP MM and PP Data Migration Consultant Experience Level: 10 – 12 Years Location: Suite #225, 8580 Belleview Drive, Plano, TX 75024, USA. Job Type: Contract (C2C / w2) Role Overview: The Functional SAP MM and PP Data Migration Consultant will play a key role in planning, executing, and validating end-to-end data migration activities for the Materials Management (MM) and Production Planning (PP) modules in SAP S/4HANA. The role requires deep functional expertise in procurement, inventory management, and production processes, combined with hands-on experience in data mapping, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation. Key Responsibilities: • Lead data migration activities for SAP MM and PP workstreams across multiple mock and cutover cycles. • Define and validate data migration scope, objects, and business rules aligned with global template requirements. • Perform data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) coordination using tools such as SAP Data Services (BODS), LSMW, LTMC, or Migration Cockpit. • Collaborate with Business Process Owners, Data Leads, and Technical Teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of migrated data. • Develop data mapping documents, functional specifications, and validation templates for MM and PP objects (e.g., Material Master, BOM, Routing, Work Center, PIR, Source List, PO, Production Versions, Stocks). • Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and sign-off with business stakeholders. • Support mock migrations, cutover planning, and post-migration verification. • Identify and resolve data-related issues, ensuring alignment with master data governance and quality standards. • Provide functional guidance and mentoring to junior team members and cross-functional teams. Required Skills & Experience: • 10–12 years of experience in SAP MM and PP functional consulting, with at least 3 full-cycle implementations. • Minimum 3+ years of direct experience in SAP data migration projects (preferably S/4HANA). • Strong knowledge of MM and PP data objects and their interdependencies (Material Master, BOM, Routing, Source List, PO, Work Center, etc.). • Experience with SAP Data Migration tools (LTMC, LSMW, BODS, or equivalent ETL tools). • Solid understanding of integration points with other modules (SD, FI/CO, QM, PM). • Proficiency in Excel-based data analysis, mapping, and cleansing techniques. • Excellent documentation, stakeholder communication, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to lead workshops, coordinate with technical teams, and ensure business sign-off. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in global template rollout or multi-country migration programs. • Familiarity with S/4HANA Data Migration Cockpit and SAP Activate methodology. • Exposure to data governance frameworks and master data management tools. • SAP Certification in MM or PP (preferred, not mandatory).
