They are seeking a Graduate Bridge and Civil Structures Engineer to assist in the design, inspection, and analysis of civil structures, focusing on bridges and stations. The role emphasizes collaboration, initiative, and a passion for sustainable development. Responsibilities Preliminary and detailed design of new bridges, stations and other civil structures Preliminary and detailed rehabilitation design of existing bridges, stations and other civil structures Inspection of existing bridges, stations and other civil structures and preparation of reports Analysis and design of structural systems and components using industry standard structural design software and preparation of formal design calculation packages Skills Master's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering Coursework in structural analysis, advanced steel design and advanced reinforced concrete design Interest in the design of bridges, stations and other civil structures. Interest in sustainable design Attitude of taking initiative, enthusiasm, and eagerness to learn Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for team-based working Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future Minimum of 3.0 GPA or higher Internship experience with an engineering firm in the built environment FE/ EIT certification Experience with advanced digital tools and design, such as parametric design, automation, coding and 3D BIM software Benefits Health and welfare security Paid time off for rest and renewal Global profit share scheme Global Profit Share Plan (paid bi-annually) 401(k) plan with up to 10% company match Company Overview Arup is an independent firm of designers, planners, engineers and technical specialists offering a broad range of professional services.
