Hybrid Client Service Representative (CSR)

Key Responsibilities Client Interaction: • Greet and assist pet owners in a warm, friendly manner, addressing inquiries and providing information about our veterinary services. Appointment Management: • Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments, ensuring efficient utilization of veterinarians’ time while accommodating clients’ needs. Client Education: • Communicate essential information regarding pet health, preventative care, vaccination protocols, and post-operative care to clients. Records Management: • Maintain accurate and organized client and patient records using veterinary practice management software. Billing and Payments: • Process payments, manage invoices, and discuss treatment plans and associated costs with pet owners. Support Veterinary Team: • Collaborate with veterinarians and veterinary technicians to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication. Handle Emergencies: • Remain calm and efficient during high-pressure situations, assisting clients and pets in emergency situations with empathy and professionalism. Follow-up Care: • Conduct follow-up calls to check on patient recovery and client satisfaction, reinforcing the importance of ongoing care. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise to be Successful Communication Skills: • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with clients, team members, and vendors. Customer Service Orientation: • Strong commitment to providing outstanding client experiences, demonstrating empathy and patience in all interactions. Multi-tasking Ability: • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Problem-Solving Skills: • Demonstrated ability to address client concerns and resolve issues promptly and efficiently. Technical Proficiency: • Proficient with veterinary software systems and Microsoft Office Suite; quick learner of new technologies. Prior Experience in Veterinary Medicine: • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital setting is required. Client Service Experience: • Previous experience in customer service roles, particularly in veterinary medicine, is highly desirable. Qualifications • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in animal science, veterinary technology, or related fields is preferred. Knowledge of Veterinary Medicine: • Understanding of common veterinary procedures, animal behavior, and pet health care best practices.
