IT Desktop Support Specialist

RAYUS Radiology is looking for an IT Desktop Support Specialist to join their team, aiming to enhance the radiology field in diagnosis and treatment. The role involves providing IT support to end-users in a healthcare environment, ensuring reliable access to critical desktop systems and medical imaging platforms. Responsibilities Provide timely and effective technical support to radiologists, technicians, and healthcare staff for all desktop, laptop, workstation and mobile device issues, including hardware and software troubleshooting Assist with the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of radiology-specific software (e.g., PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System), RIS (Radiology Information Systems) Ensure imaging devices are functioning correctly and accessible to end-users Support the installation, setup, and maintenance of desktop hardware (PCs, printers, scanners, etc.), operating systems (Windows, Apple/Android, etc.), and specialized radiology applications Respond to and resolve IT issues related to desktop systems, networking, and medical imaging technology. Provide remote and on-site support when necessary Monitor system performance and apply software patches, updates, and upgrades to ensure continued operation of both clinical and administrative systems Work closely with the infrastructure and network teams to resolve system outages and network issues Ensure optimal configuration of systems and workstations.
