TRADER is a Canadian leader in digital automotive solutions, and they are seeking a high-performing Matador AI Account Executive to drive revenue growth in the automotive sector. This role focuses on selling AI-powered solutions to dealerships and dealer groups, helping them improve sales performance, customer engagement, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demo, negotiation, and close
- Sell AI-driven solutions (e.g. conversational AI, lead management, broadcast) to automotive clients
- Build strong relationships with dealer principals, general managers, sales directors, and stakeholders
- Identify customer pain points and position AI solutions that drive measurable ROI
- Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline through outbound prospecting and inbound leads
- Deliver compelling product demos and value-based proposals
- Forecast accurately and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets
- Stay current on automotive industry trends and emerging AI technologies
Skills
- 1+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in automotive, SaaS or AI
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota
- Experience selling to automotive dealerships, dealer groups, or automotive service providers
- Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills
- Ability to explain complex AI concepts in simple, business-focused language
- CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
- Experience selling AI, automation, CRM, or data-driven platforms
- Automotive industry knowledge (retail automotive, OEMs, marketplaces, mobility tech)
- Experience with mid-market or enterprise automotive accounts
