You’ll provide clean, timely financials, support process optimization, and act as a strategic sounding board for entrepreneurs and executive teams. You’re: • Insight-driven: Curious about what numbers mean and how to turn them into actions • Accountable: You own your work and meet deadlines with confidence • Efficient and accurate: You catch the details while improving the process • A natural communicator: You simplify the complex and build trust • Tech-comfortable: You use accounting platforms and integrations to work smarter Key Responsibilities Client Communication & Coaching • Lead client meetings to explain financial statements, trends, and KPIs • Translate data into insights on margins, performance, and cash flow • Educate clients on best practices and accounting tools Financial Management & Oversight • Review and approve bookkeeper work (journal entries, reconciliations, etc.) • Ensure accurate, up-to-date reporting in QuickBooks Online • Conduct monthly close reviews, post adjustments, and maintain GAAP-level compliance Process Improvement & System Support • Optimize workflows and accounting systems for assigned clients • Manage app integrations (e.g., Gusto, Ramp, Anchor, Keeper) • Recommend tech solutions and help implement inventory or operational platforms Compliance & Payroll Coordination • Oversee payroll and sales tax filings (via partners and tools like Gusto, Avalara) • Support client HR systems by recommending or reviewing platform setup Internal Collaboration • Participate in team huddles and one-on-one check-ins with the Director of Accounting • Collaborate cross-functionally to keep services in scope and aligned with client goals Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field • 3+ years of experience in Client Accounting Services (CAS) or equivalent • QuickBooks Online (Advanced/Level 2) certified • Familiarity with tools like Anchor, Ramp, Keeper, Gusto, Avalara, and project management platforms • Proven success working remotely and directly with clients • Strong organizational and communication skills • Commitment to maintaining and expanding software certifications Compensation & Benefits • Salary: $50,000 – $70,000 per year (based on experience and skill fit) • Paid time off: Vacation, sick time, and paid holidays • Insurance: Medical, dental, and vision plans • Remote flexibility: 100% work-from-home setup • Recognition: Peer-to-peer recognition program • Culture: Virtual team events, regular check-ins, and connection-focused leadership • Growth: Learning opportunities, certification support, and internal career mobility To be considered for this role, please apply on Indeed and complete the Candidate Experience Profile by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: https://ignitespotapplication.paperform.co Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Disability insurance • Health insurance • Health savings account • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance • Work from home Application Question(s): • Have you ever led financial review meetings or coached clients on interpreting their financial statements? • Have you worked in a fully remote environment before? • What Salary range are you looking for?
