The Commonwealth of Kentucky's Energy & Environment Cabinet is seeking an Administrative Specialist to support the Office of Energy Policy. The role involves reviewing and preparing operational records, coordinating travel arrangements, and assisting with project management and communication materials. Responsibilities - Reviews, compiles, and/or prepares operational records and reports for compliance with federal, state, and agency reporting requirements - Works with project managers to assist with contacting project representatives by phone, in writing, or in person to resolve inconsistencies or inaccuracies in records and/or reports - Interprets and applies state and EEC policies and procedures within the OEP - Preparing/drafting correspondence or other responses for administrators, legislators, attorneys, clients, and/or the public - Coordinates travel arrangements, reimbursement requests, and conference registrations - Coordinates monthly, quarterly, and annual newsletters eports and develops marketing and communications materials including updates and maintenance to webpages - Assist with project summaries and success stories - Assists with KECC, conference planning, agenda development, speaker organization, and registration - Coordinates and tracks constituent requests and responses Skills - Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree - One year of professional, administrative, or business experience - Self-motivated - Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excellent communication skills - Works well individually and with a team Company Overview - Commonwealth of Kentucky offers employees on-the-job training and online professional development.
