About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-focused
Assessor to join our compliance team.
Youwill carry out digital assessments of contractor and worker registrations.
You’ll likely enjoy this role if you have experience in areas such as Immigration / Mobility Case Officer, Document Verification Specialist / Identity Verification Analyst, Compliance Analyst / Officer (Operational / Regulatory), KYC / AML Analyst (Fin Tech, banking, platforms), Audit Assistant / Internal Controls Assistant, or Legal Operations Assistant / Paralegal (regulatory focus)—but we also welcome all other candidates who are eager to grow in this exciting, emerging industry we are shaping here at CEG.
Whileyour first assessments will relate to projects in Norway, you may also review registrations connected toother projects internationally- including Sweden,Germany and Austria.
This is a one-year fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension and the potential to transition into a full-time, permanent role based on client growth and business needs.
You will be reporting to a Senior Assessor.
Key Responsibilities
• Assess andvalidateworkerregistrationssubmittedby contractors and subcontractors.
• Reviewing worker and company documentation: such as IDs, residence permits, A1 certificates, work permits, and payroll/tax records.
• Applying legaland regulatory checks accurately
• Identifying inconsistencies, missing evidence, or fraudulent submissions
• Following established assessment workflows
• Recording assessments clearly, consistently, and without bias
• Escalating high‑risk or unclear cases for further review
Requirements
• Attention to detail:You’regreat at spotting irregularities in official documents – this is the most important skill for the role.
• Problem-solving:You enjoy figuring things out and finding solutions.
• Tech-savvy:Familiarity with workforce registration systemsis a plus, butdon’tworry –we’llprovide full training. The key is that youenjoy working with systems and tools.
• Interest in learning about:Familiarity withdifferentlocallabourlaws, chain liability, or EU posted worker rulesand cross-border complianceisan advantage,but a strong willingness to learn iseven mo reimportant.
• Relevant experience:Experience in compliance, HR administration, payroll, or document verification is a bonus.
• Communication skills:Strong written and verbal English skills are required;
Norwegian or Germanis an advantage.
• Independent and reliable:You can work securely and efficiently from home, with stable internet access.
