The Assistant Paralegal will support the litigation team by managing case documents, preparing exhibits, and coordinating meetings while gaining hands-on experience in legal work.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining case management systems in accordance with firm guidelines
- Analyzing case documents to prepare subset compilations and indices for attorney review
- Preparing exhibits and binders for depositions and trials
- Drafting correspondence and professional email distributions
- Scheduling and coordinating meetings and depositions
- Assisting with collection and production of documents
- Maintaining litigation databases and providing database search support
- Conducting fact gathering research and assembling background information
- Organizing client files and preparing working notebooks
- Coordinating with his/her team to meet internal and client timeline requirements

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism
- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Paralegal certificate is preferred but not required
- 1–2 years of prior litigation and/or professional office experience is a plus
