• Project Description:
• CMC Statistics at our client is responsible for providing services in the area of biostatistics and mathematics and all areas of Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls (CMC).
• These services are supplied in the context of a cooperative, project-oriented effort and include statistical thinking and scientific input in general planning and execution of scientific studies as well as integration of all scientific expertise and available technologies to provide statistical analysis of the data from these studies.
• These collaborations also include the generation of scientific reports summarizing the study results for communication to regulatory agencies and scientific audiences.
• Provide technical leadership in tasks that include design of experiments (DOE), analysis of data, simulations, design of sampling plans, and problem solving.
• Evaluate data for submissions and responses to regulatory agencies and pharmacopoeia.
• Work collaboratively with members of multi-function teams to complete project deliverables per agreed timelines.
• Provide responses to routine and non-routine questions from clients, and independently pursue analyses suggested by the data.
• Present own statistical research or review of the statistical literature at meetings and seminars.
• Participate in departmental activities including recruiting, training/mentoring, research efforts and cross-functional collaborations.
• Responsible for compliance with applicable corporate and divisional policies and procedures.
• Required Skills:
• MS/PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related field.
• Minimum 0 years of experience (PhD) or 4-6 years (MS) is required.
• High degree of technical competence.
• Sound oral and written communication skills.
• Competent in experimental design, descriptive and inferential statistics, and computer programming.
• Ability to identify data or analytical issues and either apply skills and knowledge to solve problems or seek help to achieve solutions.
• Build strong relationships with peers and cross functionality with partners outside of team to enable higher performance.
• Learn fast, grasp the 'essence', and can change the course quickly where indicated.
• Raise the bar and is never satisfied with the status quo.
• Create a learning environment, open to suggestions and experimentation for improvement.
• Embrace the ideas of others, nurture and manage innovation to reality.
• This 6+ month position starts ASAP.
