They are seeking a Business Development Representative to support their sales teams by identifying potential government customers and executing outbound strategies to connect them with Forerunner's offerings.
Responsibilities
- Identify high-potential government customers and execute outbound strategies to connect them to Forerunner
- Move leads through the funnel, arranging meetings with an Account Executive
- Develop and lead campaigns from idea-generation through to qualified calls and determine how best to scale them
- Partner with Account Executives at Forerunner to build strategies and prospect into designated accounts
- Effectively work through lead list meeting/exceeding SLAs, consistently update activity and contact information within the CRM system and support weekly reporting effort
Skills
- 1-3 years of experience in business development or related field
- Demonstrable proficiency solving ambiguous problems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong interest in climate adaptation and technology
