HWS Law Group is a regional litigation firm with offices located in Seattle, Washington, and Portland, Oregon. They are seeking a qualified Litigation Associate to join their team, who will be involved in handling complex cases and providing excellent customer service to clients.
Responsibilities
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Confidence in taking depositions and/or in presenting oral argument in the courtroom
- Desire to accelerate the learning process by becoming actively involved in the handling of complex cases
Skills
- 1-3 years Litigation experience (discovery, deposition preparation, motion practice, etc.)
- Civil Litigation
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Positive attitude, ability to work as a team player and a desire to work cooperatively with partners, legal assistants, and paralegals
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to WA/OR State Bar
- Appellate and/or trial experience is a plus
