Composite Fabricator – (no experience necessary ) with Security Clearance

? NOTE** – College students who have no experience and want experience OR individuals who are interested with no experience, and willing to learn are encouraged to apply Job Functions:
? Fabricate composite parts, which may include bonding prep, tool prep, ply kit generation, lamination, vacuum bagging, de-molding, trimming, and part handling
? Handle perishable materials, paying close attention… to expiration dates, out time life, and traceability information
? Follows all planning, visual aids, and process work instructions. These instructions, in combination with part specific tooling, are used to fabricate composite parts and bonded assemblies.
? Operate handheld tools. (e.g.) Scissors, razor knives, grinders, drills, sanders, cutting wheels, etc.
? Excels in a team environment, supports other departments or completes other duties as necessary
? Work in both FOE critical and FOE sensitive environments and observe all related safety procedures
? Maintain a clean and safe working environment Basic Qualification:
? High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of composite manufacturing/fabrication experience or approved composites certificate program.
? Basic computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft applications
? Must be able to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting to 50 pounds.
? Ability to work flexible/changing schedules including weekends.
? Ability to work in El Segundo, CA Preferred Qualifications:
? Composite fabrication experience in an aerospace, military, manufacturing and/or maintenance environment
? Demonstrated mechanical ability and able to work under limited supervision
? Be able to operate autoclave and curing ovens
