Job Summary
Paradigm Max Q is seeking a Contracts Senior Analyst to support cradle-to-grave contract management across a diverse portfolio of federal and commercial programs. This role plays a critical part in ensuring contractual compliance, managing risk, and supporting operational execution throughout the contract lifecycle.
The Contracts Senior Analyst partners closely with the Director of Contracts, program management, capture, finance, and operations teams to provide contract analysis, negotiation support, and day-to-day contract administration in alignment with regulatory requirements and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Lifecycle Management
- Support the full contract lifecycle, including solicitation review, proposal support, contract negotiation, award, administration, modification, and closeout.
- Draft, review, and administer contractual instruments such as NDAs, teaming agreements, subcontracts, and prime contracts.
- Track contract deliverables, milestones, funding, and compliance requirements to ensure timely and accurate execution.
Risk Management & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS), and other applicable regulations and contractual requirements.
- Identify contractual risks and issues; elevate concerns and recommend mitigation strategies to the Director of Contracts.
- Support internal and external audits, reviews, and compliance inquiries as required.
Proposal & Pricing Support
- Support capture and proposal efforts by reviewing solicitation requirements, preparing contract volumes, and identifying contractual risks.
- Assist in pricing strategy support, contract type analysis, and proposal compliance reviews.
- Provide contractual input for bids, proposals, and strategic pursuits.
Process & Documentation Management
- Maintain accurate and organized contract files, documentation, and records in accordance with company policies.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of standard contract templates, policies, and internal procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline contract administration and approval processes.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Serve as a contracts point of contact for internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and vendors on assigned contracts.
- Coordinate with program management, finance, and operations teams to support contract execution and performance.
- Escalate complex contract matters to the Director of Contracts as appropriate.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Contract Management, Finance, or a related field (required).
- Master's degree or Juris Doctor (JD) (preferred).
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in contracts administration or contract management, preferably supporting federal government contracts.
- Experience working with various contract types, including FFP, T&M, CPFF, and IDIQ contracts.
- Demonstrated experience supporting proposal development and post-award contract administration.
Technical & Professional Expertise
- Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and federal contracting principles.
- Strong contract drafting, analysis, and interpretation skills.
- Proficiency with contract management systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Analytical & Communication Skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively across teams.
Certifications
NCMA certification (CFCM, CPCM, or equivalent) preferred.
