The Role We are seeking a seasoned Controller (or Senior Staff Accountant, depending on experience) to lead accounting operations across our multi-entity platform. This is a hands-on role responsible for managing our monthly and year end accounting close, compliance, treasury coordination, and building scalable accounting processes to support a growing portfolio. What You’ll Own Accounting Operations • Manage month-end close (target: 5-day business day close) • Oversee multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions • Manage outsourced bookkeeping & tax vendors, or internalize for increased efficiency • Ensure accurate and compliant payroll, AP, and AR across Business Units and Infinity Constellation Treasury & Cash Management • Partner with Head of Finance on cash forecasting • Manage treasury processes (SVB, Meow, Wise, Ramp) • Monitor capital movements across entities Compliance & Controls • Oversee audit processes and compliance frameworks • Ensure GAAP compliance • Partner with tax and audit vendors • Implement scalable internal controls • Own Infinity’s relationships with tax and external accounting vendors Process & Systems • Optimize current QuickBooks environment • Help define long-term accounting system roadmap • Improve reporting automation and accuracy Qualifications • 7+ years of accounting experience • CPA strongly preferred • Experience in SaaS, services, or multi-entity environments • Experience managing and reconciling intercompany transactions • Familiarity with venture-backed environments • Strong process design mindset • Ownership mentality What Success Looks Like • Clean, predictable 5-day closes • Clear intercompany accounting structure • Accurate, real-time financial visibility • Audit-ready books • Being seen as a strategic partner to the BUs, not a roadblock (service mindset)
