They are seeking a Designer to join their Geotechnical Dams & Hydraulics Team, where the role involves assisting in the planning, design, and production of hydraulic and land development projects.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the development of drainage impact studies
- Helping to prepare drainage construction plans and specifications
- Compiling watershed drainage studies, master plans and engineering reports
- Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents
- Coordinate with other team members and consultants
- Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies
Skills
- B.S. in Civil Engineering
- EIT license in the State of Texas or ability to obtain in 6 months
- 0-3 years of experience in H & H
- Expertise with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Self-motivated and collaborate well with others
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of H&H software (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, XPSWMM and ArcGIS)
- Infoworks ICM knowledge is a plus
