They are seeking a Designer to join their Geotechnical Dams & Hydraulics Team, where the role involves assisting in the planning, design, and production of hydraulic and land development projects. Responsibilities - Assisting in the development of drainage impact studies - Helping to prepare drainage construction plans and specifications - Compiling watershed drainage studies, master plans and engineering reports - Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents - Coordinate with other team members and consultants - Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies Skills - B.S. in Civil Engineering - EIT license in the State of Texas or ability to obtain in 6 months - 0-3 years of experience in H & H - Expertise with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) - Self-motivated and collaborate well with others - Good oral and written communication skills - Knowledge of H&H software (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, XPSWMM and ArcGIS) - Infoworks ICM knowledge is a plus Benefits - Hybrid (in-person and remote) work environment. - Comprehensive benefits package including wellness programs, parental leave, and pet insurance, in addition to medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance. - Tax-deferred 401(k) savings plan. - Competitive paid-time-off (PTO) accrual. - Tuition reimbursement for continued education. - Commitment to professional development, access to internal and external training programs, and support of active participation in professional organizations. - Incentive compensation for eligible positions.
