Key Responsibilities 1. EDM Cloud Implementation & Configuration Lead end-to-end implementation of Oracle EDM Cloud Service (EDMCS). Configure: Applications, viewpoints, and dimensions Hierarchies and node types Properties and validations Design enterprise data models aligned with business needs. 2. Master Data Governance Establish and manage enterprise data governance frameworks. Define policies, standards, and approval workflows for master data changes. Ensure consistency of key data elements such as: Chart of Accounts (COA) Cost centers Legal entities Products and customers (as applicable) 3. Hierarchy & Reference Data Management Manage hierarchies across systems: Financial hierarchies (GL) Planning hierarchies (EPM) Operational hierarchies Maintain alignment between source and target systems. 4. Workflow & Change Management Configure and manage: Request workflows Approval processes Versioning and audit trails Ensure controlled and auditable data changes. 5. Integration with ERP & EPM Systems Integrate EDM with: Oracle Fusion Financials (GL, ERP Cloud) Oracle EPM (FCCS, EPBCS, ARCS) Other third-party systems Manage data synchronization and validation across systems. 6. Data Migration & Transformation Lead data migration and hierarchy transformation initiatives. Ensure data quality and consistency during system transitions. Support mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring activities. 7. Reporting & Data Visibility Develop reports and dashboards for: Data governance metrics Hierarchy changes Audit trails Provide transparency into data changes and approvals. 8. Compliance & Audit Ensure compliance with: SOX controls Internal audit requirements Maintain complete audit trails of master data changes. Support audit and regulatory reporting. 9. Leadership & Stakeholder Management Lead a team of EDM consultants, data stewards, and analysts. Collaborate with: Finance (GL, FP&A) IT and Data Governance teams Act as a trusted advisor for enterprise data strategy. Conduct workshops and user training. 10. Process Optimization & Transformation Standardize master data processes across the enterprise. Automate data governance workflows. Support digital transformation initiatives involving data management. Required Skills & Qualifications Core Skills Strong expertise in: Oracle EDM Cloud (EDMCS) Deep understanding of: Master data governance (MDM) Hierarchy management Financial data structures (COA, entities, cost centers) Technical Skills Experience with: EDM viewpoints, node types, and properties Integration with Oracle Fusion ERP and EPM Data import/export and transformation tools Knowledge of APIs and data integration concepts Functional Skills Strong finance and/or data governance background Understanding of financial reporting and planning structures Experience with multi-system data alignment Leadership Skills Team management and mentoring Strong stakeholder communication Analytical and problem-solving skills Experience Requirements 8–12+ years in ERP / EPM / Data Management 4–6+ years in Oracle EDM Cloud or Master Data Management Experience in 1–2+ EDM implementations Consulting experience preferred (Big 4 is a plus)
