Position Overview As a Remote Pharmacy Data Entry & Patient Support Specialist , you will serve as the virtual front line of Flexoraq’s pharmacy operations. You’ll assist customers with medication information, process prescription orders, perform data validation, and help maintain compliance with state and federal regulations—all from the comfort of your home. No prior pharmacy experience is required, but a passion for health care, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn are essential. Key Responsibilities Patient Interaction: Greet patients virtually, answer inquiries about medication usage, side effects, generic alternatives, and over‑the‑counter products. Provide clear, empathetic guidance to ensure safe and effective medication adherence. Prescription Processing: Accurately enter prescription data into Jobspirex’s pharmacy management system, verify dosing information, and flag any potential drug interactions or contraindications for pharmacist review. Data Validation & Compliance: Perform medication compounding checks, audit prescription entries for accuracy, and ensure adherence to state‑controlled substance regulations and internal policies. Clinical Services Support: Assist with scheduling and documentation for immunizations, point‑of‑care testing, and other health services offered by Remotiuma pharmacies. Inventory Coordination: Monitor medication stock levels remotely, alert the store manager of shortages, and help coordinate refill orders to keep the pharmacy fully stocked. Quality Improvement: Identify workflow bottlenecks, propose process enhancements, and participate in virtual meetings aimed at improving the patient experience. Community Outreach: Build relationships with local healthcare providers, assist in virtual health‑fair events, and promote Skillvoraq’s services within the community. Team Collaboration: Work closely with pharmacy technicians, pharmacists, and store leadership to share feedback, support training initiatives, and contribute to a positive, inclusive culture. Documentation & Reporting: Generate routine reports on prescription volume, patient satisfaction, and compliance metrics for management review. Essential Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Health Sciences, or a related field is a strong advantage. Current pharmacy technician certification or willingness to obtain certification within 90 days of hire. Basic understanding of prescription terminology, medication safety, and pharmacy workflow (training will be provided). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on empathy and clarity. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple data entry tasks accurately. Proficiency with standard office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) and comfort learning new pharmacy management platforms. Reliable high‑speed internet connection, a quiet workspace, and a headset for virtual patient interactions. Preferred Qualifications Two or more years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting, including prescription filling, verification, and inventory control. Experience providing immunizations or other clinical services. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy best practices. Previous remote work experience, demonstrating self‑motivation and time‑management skills. Fluency in a second language (Spanish, Mandarin, etc.) to serve diverse patient populations.
