We are seeking a senior ERP transformation leader to guide a major initiative consolidating multiple business units currently operating on disparate systems into a unified **JD Edwards Enterprise platform. This engagement requires a leader who can operate at the intersection of business strategy, operational transformation, and enterprise technology, partnering closely with executive leadership to modernize core processes and successfully deliver a multi-entity ERP implementation.
Key Responsibilities
ERP Implementation Leadership
• Lead the end-to-end implementation and rollout of JD Edwards 9.2 across multiple business units currently operating on legacy systems.
• Serve as the primary liaison between IT leadership, business stakeholders, and external implementation partners.
• Develop and execute the ERP implementation roadmap including planning, configuration, testing, and deployment.
Business Process Transformation
• Evaluate current business processes and systems used across various business units.
• Partner with functional leaders to standardize and optimize processes within the JD Edwards platform.
• Ensure alignment between ERP functionality and operational requirements across finance, supply chain, and operations.
Data Migration & Systems Integration
• Oversee data migration strategy from legacy platforms, databases, and departmental systems into JD Edwards.
• Ensure proper data cleansing, mapping, and validation to maintain data integrity during migration.
• Coordinate integration of JD Edwards with other enterprise systems and reporting platforms.
Program Governance & Project Delivery
• Establish project governance frameworks including steering committees, status reporting, and milestone tracking.
• Manage project timelines, resources, risks, and vendor deliverables.
• Lead cutover planning, go-live readiness, and post-go-live stabilization (hypercare).
Stakeholder Management & Change Leadership
• Drive organizational change management to support ERP adoption across the business.
• Communicate project progress and risks to executive leadership.
• Mentor internal teams and build internal ERP capability.
• Qualifications
• 10+ years of ERP implementation experience, with significant experience in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne environments
• Proven track record leading ERP migrations or multi-entity implementations
• Deep understanding of ERP modules including:
• Financials (GL, AP, AR)
• Procurement
• Inventory / Supply Chain
• Manufacturing or Job Cost (preferred)
• Experience leading data migration from legacy systems into ERP platforms
• Strong program management and stakeholder leadership skills
• Experience working with system integrators or ERP consulting partners
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills
Preferred Experience
• Experience implementing or upgrading JD Edwards
• Experience consolidating multiple business units or acquired companies onto a single ERP
• Familiarity with data migration tools and integration frameworks
• Background in industries such as manufacturing, distribution, construction, or asset-intensive organizations
