**About the Role**
As a Home-Based Collections Specialist, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while navigating complex account situations. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Interacting with customers and negotiating bill arrangements for both inbound and outbound collections
* Providing a personalized arenaflex experience with credit accountholders, treating them with respect and appreciation, and demonstrating courtesy and friendliness
* Identifying diverse accountholder segments and offering suitable solutions, while adhering to all credit guidelines and procedures, account charge terms, billing/collections structures, and various country and federal laws, guidelines, and policies governing credit and collections
* Demonstrating problem-solving skills through probing or making recommendations for handling remarkable account situations (e.g., bankruptcy, CCC, deceased, legal, fraud, billing disputes, etc.)
* Working in a multi-media environment (emails, phone calls, chat messages, and letters) that's fast-paced and challenging, requiring you to prioritize work accordingly
**About You**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* A High School Diploma or GED
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
* 1-2 years of previous customer experience or customer service experience
* Ability to engage with customers, crew contributors, and internal business partners with a professional, friendly, empathetic style, and de-escalate as needed
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including listening, negotiating, and decision-making skills, with experience managing escalated customer complaints
* Ability to apply diverse data reasserts to respond to questions, identify issues, and accurately resolve customer problems
* Strong technical skills, ability to work within multiple systems, and high skillability with PC/Microsoft applications
* Access to a home workspace that's free from noise distractions to perform the role
* Hardwired internet at your home location (Hardwired: using an Ethernet cable to directly connect the arenaflex-issued laptop to the modem or router)
* Meet the minimum bandwidth requirement of 40mbps download/5mbps upload
* Ability to interact through a arenaflex-issued internet digital camera for required meetings, training, and/or interactions
* Ability to safely lift and carry up to 25 pounds of equipment
**Additional Home-Based Requirements**
* From time to time, and upon request, you'll be required to complete an online speed test and email a photograph of your speed test result to your supervisor.
* You may be required to deactivate Wi-Fi functionality while using arenaflex systems during work hours.
* You may be required to store emergency and work phone numbers (excluding online resources) and other required notices in a conspicuous spot in your home workspace.
* If there are prolonged disruptions in your power or internet service, you'll be required to follow specific arenaflex procedures, which may include taking unpaid days off if applicable.
* You will take reasonable care to prevent unauthorized disclosure of or access to arenaflex assets or data through others in the home worksite.
* You must log out or lock your arenaflex-issued laptop when you're away from your workspace.
* arenaflex-issued systems can only be used for arenaflex business purposes, and printing and/or storing proprietary data is not allowed.
* You must maintain your workspace free from any personal mobile phones, tablets, or other such devices (especially video and audio recording devices).
* You must maintain arenaflex's dress code expectations while working from home.
* You must maintain only one designated work location.
* You must use the surge protector to ensure your arenaflex-issued system is properly supplied.
* You will not be reimbursed for any home office expenses, including internet, office supplies, or table furniture.
* You are expected to follow arenaflex's "Ergonomics in the Workplace" guidelines when setting up your workspace and to ensure a safe work environment.
* You must have a working smoke detector in or near the workspace.
* You must have a first aid kit available near the workspace.
* You may be expected to install all issued arenaflex systems in your home workspace.
* You may be expected to disassemble and return to all arenaflex-issued systems as directed by your supervisor upon request and/or upon the completion of your role.
