**Job Responsibilities**
As a Lead Engineer, you will:
* Manage telephony answers using open-source technology, including Asterisk and Kamailio
* Configure and customize telephony structures to meet business needs while ensuring high availability and reliability of telephony services
* Stay updated with the latest open-source telephony technology and trends
* Use DevOps skills to automate deployment of applications and changes with CI/CD pipelines
* Use APIs to automate tasks and responsibilities
* Manage Voice Store era hardware, including Music player structures (amplifiers and speakers), visitor assist buttons, and overhead paging
* Create dashboarding to help with tracking and troubleshooting
* Work closely with cross-functional technical teams to implement and troubleshoot answers, while providing technical expertise
* Partner with business specialists to understand needs while working to build answers to achieve business goals
* Work with store support companies offshore support group to manage incidents in a timely manner
* Demonstrate strong communication skills
* Demonstrate a preference to learn and constantly develop technical skills
* Use your technical acumen to apply and maintain knowledge of modern and emerging technology within specialized areas of the technology domain
* Evaluate new technology and participate in decision-making, accounting for various factors including viability within arenaflex's technical environment, maintainability, and cost of ownership
* Initiate and execute research and proof-of-concept projects for new technology
* Lead or set approach for testing and debugging on the platform or enterprise level
* Function as an expert aid to create and enhance requirements and best practices to ensure high-performance, scalable, repeatable, and stable deliverables
* Lead the design, lifecycle management, and overall cost of ownership of services
* Provide the team with idea management to promote re-use and increase consistent, scalable patterns
* Participate in planning services that have business impact
* Provide recommendations for managing routine and fairly complex technical problems, escalating issues when necessary
* Gather information, data, and input from a wide range of sources; select additional resources when necessary, interact with relevant stakeholders, and conduct in-depth analysis of data

* Serve as an expert aid in disaster recovery and disaster recovery planning

* Develop fully attributed data models, including logical, physical, and canonical
* Influence data requirements, policies, and procedures
* Install, configure, and/or monitor data management solutions with minimal guidance
* Monitor data management solution(s) and select optimization opportunities
**Required Skillsets**
* 4-year degree or equivalent experience
* 3+ years of software development experience
* Telephony experience in a professional setting
* Experience with open-source technology (Asterisk, Kamailio, or similar)
* Experience with APIs to automate tasks and responsibilities pipelines
* Innate preference to learn and constantly develop technical skills
* Strong communication skills
* Demonstrates strong domain-specific knowledge concerning arenaflex's technology capabilities, and key competitors' products and differentiating features
* Demonstrates deep and wide knowledge in multiple computer languages and frameworks (e.g., open-source)
* Designs, develops, and approves end-to-end capability of a product line, platform, or infrastructure
* Communicates and coordinates with project team, partners, and stakeholders
* Demonstrates knowledge in evaluation and optimization of systems capacity, performance, and operational health
* Understands and develops solutions to foster data lifecycle management
* Maintains deep technical knowledge within areas of expertise
* Stays current with new and evolving technology through formal education and self-directed education
* Experience in building relatively scalable distributed systems

**Work Arrangement**
This function will perform as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on arenaflex's needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core function will need to be completed both on-site at the arenaflex HQ MN region the function is assigned to and virtually, depending on what your function, team, and responsibilities require for that day. Work responsibilities cannot be completed outside of the United States of the primary work region, unless otherwise prescribed by arenaflex.
