**Job Summary**
We're seeking a part-time Remote Data Entry Specialist to assist with a variety of ongoing clinical trials. As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for transcribing source data into various electronic data capture (EDC) systems, verifying data integrity, and following established standard operating procedures (SOPs) and good clinical practice (GCP) guidelines. **Key Responsibilities**
* Transcribes source data into various electronic data capture (EDC) systems per protocol requirements and following established standards
* Verifies integrity of data by comparing it to source documents
* Follows established standard operating procedures (SOPs), good clinical practice (GCP) and other applicable regulatory requirements in the execution of all EDC activities
* Answers queries within EDC system in a timely manner
* Assists the clinical research team with quality controls (QC) of patient files per ERAs established standards
* Prepares and scans documents into EDC systems and ERAs database
* Assists the clinical team with preparing for onsite monitoring visits for each study protocol
**Requirements**
* High School Diploma
* High attention to detail
* Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Flexible during the company's growth stage
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Ability to effectively collaborate with other team members
**Desired Skills & Qualifications**
* 1-2 years of experience in data entry
* Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills
* Experience with Microsoft Office
* Knowledge of research EDC systems preferred (Veeva Vault, Medrio, IBM, OpenClinica, MedidataRAVE, etc.)
