A2SKI is seeking
a reliable and skilled Fuel Technician to join our team at Foran MBO. The ideal
candidate will be responsible for the safe handling, storage, distribution, and
monitoring of fuel and lubricants across the mine site. This role supports
continuous mining operations by ensuring all equipment is properly fueled and
maintained while adhering to strict safety and environmental standards.
Key
Responsibilities:

Operate
fuel trucks and service vehicles to refuel heavy equipment, generators, and
light-duty vehicles
·
Monitor
fuel inventory levels and coordinate deliveries to maintain adequate supply
·
Perform
preventive maintenance on fueling systems and report defects or issues
·
Respond
to and assist with spill containment and cleanup as required
·
Maintain
accurate records of fuel usage, transfers, and inventory
·
Communicate
effectively with equipment operators, maintenance teams, and supervisors
·
Assist
with lubrication tasks and minor mechanical servicing when needed
·
Conduct
routine inspections of fuel storange tanks, pumps, hoses, and dispensing
systems
·
Ensure
compliance with site safety policies, environmental regulations, and handling
procedures
Qualifications:
·
1+
years of construction experience is preferred
·
Transportation
of Dangerous Goods certification preferred
·
SCOT
and WHMIS Certification
·
Valid
Driver’s License and clean driver abstract
·
Knowledge
of fuel systems, pumps, and basic mechanical skills
·
Ability
to operate service trucks and work in remote environments
·
Ability
to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively in a
team environment
·
Good
communication and organizational skills
·
Knowledge
of safety protocols and procedures in a construction/warehouse setting is an
asset
·
Willingness
to undergo drug and alcohol testing
