**Job Description**
The Risk Finance group, below Corporate Planning (CP&A), is responsible for the planning, forecasting, and evaluation of global Loss Provision and Credit Reserves. The group also provides credit-associated decision aid to Risk Management, local Finance, and business groups on underwriting, patron management, credit, and collections activities, etc.
As a Director Data Science, you will lead the Global Data Strategy group within Risk Finance. The primary responsibility of the group is to build and maintain centralized reporting capabilities, implement process enhancements and automation, and ultimately drive revolutionary data answers to provide strong forecasts and analytics for the wider Risk Finance organization.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Lead the strategic evaluation of arenaflex credit metrics, credit provision, and reserve for Senior Management in Risk and Finance
* Own precise information assets/packages within Risk Finance, and become a subject matter expert of the applicable tools (troubleshoot issues, reconcile results, identify enhancements and automation possibilities, and teach other customers to drive adoption)
* Develop and maintain preferred and ad-hoc reports used by Risk Finance and/or business partners; provide credit-associated analytical aid
* Develop and present key analyses and recommendations to Senior Management
* Build and maintain relationships across Risk Finance portfolio groups and with partners in Risk, Controllership, Tech, etc.
* Provide decision-aid with a strong emphasis on growing analytics that identify trends and opportunities in the portfolio which can be used to optimize Business and Risk decisions
**Required Qualifications**
* Advanced experience working with a maximum of the following is required: SQL/Hive, Power BI/Tableau, Python/R, VBA, TM1
* Experience working with a sophisticated degree of Excel and PowerPoint required
* Experience in ML modeling is a plus
* Solid economic and analytical skills; ability to work with large units of data and draw significant conclusions, empowering our business partners to make smart, data-driven decisions
* Superior attention to detail, alongside exemplary organizational and problem-solving skills
* Must be results-driven and proactive with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work within tight timelines
* Desire to work on ambiguous tasks, growing clarity while achieving successful and significant outcomes
* A strong work-ethic and strong interpersonal skills, showcasing the ability to build and maintain relationships and successfully collaborate with team members to achieve goals
* Experience working with a sophisticated degree of Excel and PowerPoint required
* Master's degree in advanced mathematics or statistical discipline required

**Salary Range**
$55.00 to $85.00 hourly + bonus + equity (if relevant) + benefits
