- SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday approximately 50+ hours a week.

Job Summary
The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for identifying new business opportunities in the Middle East and Asia where our products can be successfully marketed and sold to new distributors and business partners. Further responsibilities will include assisting existing and new business partners in successfully growing their businesses with sales of Herr’s products. A general work week will consist of 50-60 hours. Regular travel throughout the Middle East and Asia will be necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquire knowledge of distribution methods and principles in Middle East and Asia markets.
- Determine which of our products would best sell in these countries.
- Collaborate with government agencies that assist companies with import/export opportunities.
- Assist in the sales development of current and new distributors throughout the Middle East and Asia.
- Plan and execute dynamic sales meetings and presentations to existing and new distributors.
- Effectively interact and build relationships with existing and potential distributors and Herr’s employees.
- Effectively create, maintain, & analyze customer sales reports.
- Attend various tradeshows and other events with existing and potential customers to foster customer relations.
- Must be willing and able to engage in domestic and international business travel on a regular basis (average of 4-6 weeks per calendar quarter).

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree (B.S. or B.A.) from a 4-year accredited educational institution with a business or marketing related concentration; and four or more years of related sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior international sales experience preferred.
Language Skills
Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Must have the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must have the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Must have the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software; Microsoft Word Processing software; Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation software and Microsoft Outlook. E-mail software.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must have a valid driver's license in the country / state of residence.
Other Skills and Abilities
Must be able to read, write, understand and speak English. Must be able to read, write, understand and speak Spanish. It would be desirable if Employee could also read/write French, although this is not required. Must have a high energy level and a willingness to work long hours. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised. Excellent analytical skills required. Excellent listening skills required. Excellent non-verbal, written (grammatical, content, email) and oral communication skills required; all with a personable and friendly demeanor. Proven history of having met expected performance standards
Other Qualifications
Must understand market share trends. Must possess a proven history of having met expected performance standards. Must possess a stable work history with good references. The candidate must have a proven track record of aggressive sales performance and results, a proven track record of account acquisition and a history of creating strategic plans to overcome problem circumstances.
