We are currently seeking an IT QA Analyst to join our Information Technology team. This role is responsible for validating business and system requirements through manual and automated testing, ensuring high‑quality software releases. The position requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, developers, and product teams to identify defects early, maintain requirements traceability, and support successful production deployments.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to create effective test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute functional, regression, and system testing across multiple applications and release cycles.
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Jira, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to clarify requirements, validate fixes, and confirm expected system behavior.
• Participate in test planning, execution, and test closure activities aligned with project timelines.
• Support UAT cycles by coordinating test execution, monitoring progress, and reporting status to the Test Manager.
• Maintain test artifacts including test cases, test data, traceability matrices, and execution evidence.
• Contribute to continuous process improvements, test coverage expansion, and quality metrics reporting.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
• 2–4 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA best practices.
• Hands‑on experience with manual testing; exposure to automation is a plus.
• Experience using defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Xray, ALM, or Zephyr.
• Ability to understand complex business workflows and translate them into actionable test scenarios.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Preference for property & casualty insurance experience
Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $75,000-$95,000, plus eligibility for a performance‑based annual bonus. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors including experience, education, and location.
