He currently lives with family, and while this is not an emergency placement, his team believes he will thrive with a non-relative who can offer consistent expectations, patient guidance, and a calm, supportive home environment. This opportunity is ideal for individuals or families who value routine, enjoy community involvement, and are committed to helping someone build confidence and daily living skills through steady, relationship-based support. About the Individual He is a capable, friendly, and community-minded young adult who benefits from structure and predictable routines. At home, he may become argumentative when prompted by family members, but he responds well to clear expectations and consistent follow-through from non-relatives. He does best in environments where routines are steady, communication is calm, and household expectations are clear. Remaining close to Williamsport is important, as regular visits with his family are a positive and meaningful part of his life. What Youll Do as a Life Sharing Host Family Provide a safe, stable, and welcoming home Support daily living skills, routines, and healthy habits Offer mentorship, companionship, and emotional support Encourage community involvement and recreational activities Help him stay active through walkable, local outings Collaborate with Abound Health to follow person-centered plans Promote independence, dignity, and personal growth Why Become a Life Sharing Family?
