Discover Financial Services is seeking a motivated and hardworking Live Chat Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. This position is remote and the ideal candidate will be located in Charlotte, North Carolina, or in a nearby area. Responsibilities:
– Engage with customers in real-time through live chat to provide support, answer questions, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
– Utilize innovative strategies to enhance the customer experience and drive customer satisfaction
– Demonstrate emotional intelligence to effectively communicate with customers and de-escalate challenging situations
– Collaborate with the customer service team to provide seamless support across all channels
– Meet and exceed performance metrics related to response time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction
– Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers
– Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by actively participating in team meetings and training sessions
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree preferred
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service or a related field
– Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
– Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
– Experience with live chat platforms and CRM systems
– Motivated and hardworking personality traits
– Demonstrated innovation and emotional intelligence
– Comfortable working in a remote environment
– Must have a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace
