Marketing Strategist for Children's YouTube Series

We are developing an original children’s YouTube series and are seeking an experienced, ethical, and proven Marketing Strategist to develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan from the ground up. This role is not generic marketing. We are specifically looking for a professional who has demonstrated real success marketing children’s television, kids’ YouTube content, or family-focused media, and who understands how to responsibly reach parents, caregivers, and age-appropriate audiences. Our series emphasizes ethical, family-focused storytelling, and we are looking for a strategist who shares those values and knows how to execute them effectively in today’s digital landscape. What We’re Looking For: - A credible marketing strategist with real-world experience in children’s television, kids’ media, or family-focused entertainment - A deep understanding of how to ethically market content for children (COPPA awareness, platform-appropriate strategies, parent-first messaging, etc.) - Proven success launching, growing, or supporting previous children’s series, shows, or comparable media projects - The ability to develop a clear marketing strategy and execute it—not just theory, but action - Experience identifying and reaching the correct audience (parents, families, educators, caregivers, platforms) - Strong communication skills and a collaborative, values-aligned approach Responsibilities: - Define the appropriate target audience and marketing approach for our children’s series - Create a clear, ethical, and executable marketing plan - Advise on platforms, content strategy, and rollout timing - Support or directly execute marketing initiatives aligned with the series’ mission and tone - Ensure all marketing efforts are child-safe, parent-respectful, and values-driven Important Notes: We are not interested in unethical growth tactics, misleading practices, spam, or manipulative marketing methods Applicants must have prior experience with children’s or family-focused media—this is a requirement, not a preference Please be prepared to share examples or case studies of relevant past work To Apply, Please Include: - A brief overview of your experience with children’s television or kids’ media - Examples of previous projects or campaigns you’ve worked on - A short explanation of how you approach ethical marketing for children’s content We are building something meaningful and intentional, and we’re looking for the right partner to help bring it to the world the right way.
