The role is mostly remote and the candidate will need to be in the DMV area and available to come onsite when needed for several days in a row for testing, meetings or other tasks. Our client is looking to onboard as a 6-month contract to hire.
Responsibilities:
– Utilize full-stack development expertise that ranges from client development of markup and styling to OS level services, and server-side containers and database technologies.
– Contribute to the design and development C# .NET core applications and hardware driver development.
– Experience with scripting languages such as bash, python, and PowerShell.
– Design pattern implementations, including REST and dependency injection.
– Support Docker desktop containers.
– Database support for PostgreSQL code-first or database-first.
– Document software designs, which may include design diagrams, data flow diagrams, software module descriptions, etc.
– Use Integrated Development Environment (IDE) tools to include VSCode and GIT.
– Comfortable with both Linux and Windows 0perating systems and environments.
– Provide Tier 3 / 4 engineering support, as needed, for solutions deployed to production.
Required Skills
– Must be US Citizen due to government requirements with the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Public Trust
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science and 2-5 years’ software development experience. Two additional years of professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Required Skills:
– Distributed system design and development with Microsoft .NET environment
– Familiar with build pipelines, including Jenkins with SonarQube
– Excellent troubleshooting and resolution skills
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Ability to work in team environments across a diverse set of projects with multiple stakeholders.
