Paid Media Strategist (Google & Social Ads) – Growth-Focused, Client-Facing

The Opportunity We’re looking to take our paid advertising services to the next level. While we currently manage Google Ads for our clients, we see a clear opportunity to increase performance, expand into additional channels, and bring a more strategic, growth-focused approach to digital advertising—including platforms like Meta (Facebook & Instagram). We’re looking for someone to own and lead this evolution. If you’re someone who: • Identifies opportunities to improve performance quickly • Thinks in terms of full-funnel strategy, not just platform execution • Enjoys testing and refining messaging, creative, and landing pages …this role is for you. What Success Looks Like • Campaigns are actively improving month over month • Clients clearly understand performance and value • You identify and recommend new opportunities across Google and social channels • Our ads service becomes a true revenue driver, not just a maintenance offering What You’ll Be Responsible For Managing and optimizing: • Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube) • Social media ads (Meta/Facebook, Instagram; others a plus) • Identifying inefficiencies and missed opportunities in existing campaigns • Running ongoing A/B tests: • Ad copy & creative • Offers & messaging • Landing pages • Collaborating with our team on: • Landing page improvements (conversion-focused) • Creative direction (images, hooks, messaging) Recommending channel strategy: • When to use Google vs social • How they work together (intent vs awareness) • Communicating directly with clients: • Performance updates • Strategic recommendations • Growth opportunities • Identifying upsell opportunities: • Increased budgets • New platforms (Meta, YouTube, etc.) • New campaign types What We Value • Ownership mindset (you treat accounts like your own business) • Strategic thinking across multiple ad platforms, not just one • Strong understanding of conversion optimization • Ability to connect creative + targeting + landing pages • Clear, confident communication with clients What We Don’t Want • “Set it and forget it” campaign managers • Platform-only specialists who don’t think beyond Google • Passive account managers who wait for problems Requirements • 3+ years managing Google Ads campaigns • Experience with paid social advertising (Meta/Facebook & Instagram) • Proven ability to improve performance (not just maintain campaigns) • Strong understanding of conversion tracking and optimization • Comfortable working with small to mid-sized business clients Bonus Points • Experience with YouTube Ads, Microsoft Ads, or Local Service Ads • Experience guiding landing page strategy • Agency experience managing multiple clients • Strong creative instincts (what makes ads convert) Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 – 15.0 per week Application Question(s): • If you took over a Google Ads account that hasn’t been actively optimized in 6–12 months, what would you do in the first 30 days?
